SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Range Review

Madagascar Centella Skin1004

If you’ve looked for cica skincare before, you’ve probably seen the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule. It’s a pretty iconic product in the Korean skincare world, and it’s one that I’ve been using for a few years.

But did you know that there is an entire line of Madagascar Centella skincare? Recently, I’ve been trying out these products from SKIN1004 and I certainly have some new favourites for my skincare collection.

If you’re interested in trying the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella skincare range, check out my reviews for each product below and head to Amazon, Stylevana or direct to SKIN1004 to buy this range.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil

An oil cleanser perfect for the first step of your skincare routine. The Centella light cleansing oil removes makeup and impurities from skin. It contains MCT oil from coconut as the oil base, plus six botanical oils to soothe, nourish and cleanse skin.

It is a proper oily texture when you apply to dry skin, and then turns to a milky emulsion when water is added. It does a good job of breaking down and cleansing away makeup. I find it completely fine around my eyes, and it removes my mascara and eyeliner without any irritation or blurriness.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule Foam

The ampoule foam makes a good second step cleanser, helping to remove dirt and impurities from skin. Containing 84% Madagascan centella, it also soothes and hydrates skin. The foam cleanser uses baking soda to offer a deep cleanse that clears pores and removes impurities from skin.

It foams up well, making for a properly bubbly cleanser. It cleans away any residual dirt and makes my skin feel super soft. My skin still feels hydrated and soothed after using this – it doesn’t strip my skin at all. Using this has really helped to clear up my skin.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Toning Toner

The toner contains PHA to exfoliate, as well as 84% centella asiatica extract and hyaluronic acid to hydrate, soothe and brighten skin.

The toning toner gives my skin an instant glow boost, without looking shiny or feeling sticky. It sinks in really quickly, leaving my skin smooth and bright. This really helps to give a good hydrating boost to my skin and it is one of my favourites from this range.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Quick Calming Pad

The tub contains 70 pads, which are soaked in centella extract essence. The pads are a similar material to sheet masks and are approximately the size of your cheek. They contain 49% centella asiatica extract to soothe skin and boost moisture.

You can wipe these calming pads over your skin like you would with toner, or pop them on your face for a cooling and calming experience.

I get a lot of redness in my cheeks, so I like to wear these for a couple of minutes as they cool down my face and soothe the redness, making my skin tone a lot more even.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule

The Madagascar Centella Ampoule is probably the best-known product – and for good reason! It’s a must-have for those who want a boost of hydration in their skincare routine.

It contains 100% centella asiatica extract from Madagascar, which moisturises and soothes skin while strengthening the skin barrier.

I like this one for adding extra moisture in my routine, as the pure cica ingredient means it’s unlikely to react with other ingredients, making it super easy to incorporate into your skincare.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream

The soothing cream contains 72% centella asiatica extract to boost hydration and soothe skin. It also contains four types of plant-based ceramides to strengthen the skin barrier and moisturise.

With a light gel texture, it is perfect for my oily skin. It applies really easily, sinks in quickly and feels refreshing. My skin looks glowy and feels soft and smooth.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Light

The Air-Fit Suncream Light is SPF30 PA++++ that offers protection from UV rays. It is a physical sunscreen containing zinc oxide. This SPF is the Light version of the Air-Fit Suncream, which is better suited to people with sensitive skin.

It also contains 20% centella extract, keeping skin soothed and calm while being protected from the sun!

The suncream blends into my skin well, and doesn’t leave any whitecast on my skin. The texture is a little heavier than I would usually choose, but it doesn’t feel too greasy on my skin, and it contributes to a healthy glow!

It’s rare that out of a whole range of products there isn’t one that doesn’t work for me, but the entire Madagascar Centella collection from SKIN1004 is a winner for me! I would recommend every single one of these products and I will continue to use them in my skincare routine.

Since trying all of these, I think my favourites from the collection are the ampoule foam, the toner and the soothing cream. These three work well together to offer a simple 3-step routine that I can do quickly in the morning for clear, soothed, and glowy skin!
