I’m From Mugwort Mask
If I want my makeup to look great for a special occasion, I’ll usually start my routine with a face mask. They are great for refreshing your skin and I think they essentially act as a reset button for your skin before you do further steps.
The I’m From Mugwort Mask is a gentle wash-off mask that aims to calm and soothe irritated skin. It has a thick gel texture with flecks of mugwort in it. It offers a cooling feeling on the skin when you have applied it.
The mask contains 2.1% mugwort leaf powder that adds texture to the mask that can provide a little exfoliation to skin if you need, while washing it off. Or you can just let it cool and refresh your skin and then gently wipe it off without rubbing it.

Exfoliation is a good next step for ensuring a good finish for your makeup. Dead skin cells can make your foundation texture look cakey and rough. Plus excess sebum and oiliness on the skin can make parts of your makeup separate and not sit right on your skin.
Mandelic Acid is an AHA which acts as a chemical exfoliant; accelerating cell turnover and removing dead skin cells. The Prep Water also contains Centella Asiatica, panthenol and beta-glucan to calm and restore moisture, which is important following exfoliation.
The prep water is used like a toner, as it provides both exfoliation and moisture. It really helps to smooth skin, evening skin texture.

One area where people often go wrong with doing their makeup is starting their makeup routine on dehydrated skin. While you might think it better to start your makeup on drier skin, ensuring your face is well hydrated will make all the difference.

The calming cream contains chamomile to soothe skin and redness, while centella asiatica extract helps to heal skin and treat blemishes. Like the serum, it is a blue colour from the natural ingredients. Its soothing benefits also make it fantastic for treating sunburn.
The cream sinks in quickly and is suitable for my oily skin, and doesn’t leave me looking shiny. I often have red patches on my cheeks that are hard to soothe, but this instantly improved my skin tone and gave me a much more balanced complexion.

The new Bakuchiol Sun Stick works like a primer, making skin look smooth and ready for flawlessly applying makeup. This is my final skincare step before applying my foundation. If you prep your skin right, you shouldn’t need to use an actual primer.
