SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum Review

SKIN 1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum Review

One of the best selling skincare products from SKIN 1004 is their Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum. The sun serum is SPF 50+ PA++++ and contains some great ingredients to nourish your skin while protecting it from the sun.

I’ve been trying this sun cream out for a few weeks to review its benefits and compare it with another SKIN 1004 SPF, the Air-Fit Suncream.

SKIN 1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum Ingredients

The water-fit sun serum contains some great nourishing ingredients for your skin:

  • Hyaluronic acid to hydrate skin.
  • Centella Asiatica Extract to soothe skin.
  • Green tea, broccoli, and rocket to provide antioxidant benefits.
  • Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate to provide SPF 50+ PA++++ chemical sunscreen.

The formula is reef safe, hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

SKIN 1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum Texture

The sun serum has quite a watery cream texture. It has a serum-like consistency that absorbs into skin quickly. It is very lightweight and doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin.

The Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. There is no stickiness after applying.

It has a slightly dewy finish, but it’s not greasy or too shiny.

SKIN 1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum Vs Air-Fit Suncream Light

Recently I’ve been using two sun protection products from SKIN1004, the Water-Fit Sun Serum and Air-Fit Suncream.

Air-Fit

  • SPF30 PA++++
  • Physical sunscreen containing zinc oxide.
  • Suitable for sensitive skin
  • 20% centella extract to soothe and calm skin
  • Cream texture

Water-Fit

  • SPF 50+ PA++++
  • Chemical sunscreen
  • Suitable for sensitive skin
  • Hyaluronic acid and centella extract to soothe and hydrate
  • Light serum-like texture

Both sunscreens are great and I don’t really have any complaints about either. They both sink into my skin quickly and neither leave a white cast for me.

Personally, I prefer the Water-Fit Sun Serum due to the texture. It is lighter on my skin and gives me a smoother finish. The Air-Fit suncream is a bit heavier, and out of the two feels less suited to my oily skin.

If you’d like to try the SKIN 1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum yourself, you can find it at Stylevana, SKIN1004 and Amazon
