Best Skincare in the UK in 2022

Pixi Glow Tonic

Recently, I’ve been posting a lot about Korean skincare, but as a skincare blogger based in the UK, I thought it was time to share some more about my favourite UK skincare products that are available in the United Kingdom. While some of these brands aren’t UK based, these are all brands that are easily accessible in the UK, both in high street beauty stores and online retailers.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Glow Cleanser

Liz Earle Cleanse and Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser

Liz Earle are a well-loved skincare brand in the UK. I’ve recently added their Cleanse and Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser into my skincare routine and I’ve quickly fallen in love with it. The cleanser starts off as a gel cleanser, becomes an oil when you rub it onto your skin, and then turns into a milky texture when water is applied.

If you’re unsure about trying a product like this, Liz Earle customers do get a 60 days return, meaning you can return a product in this time if it doesn’t suit your skin, which is quite generous for a skincare brand.

pixi glow tonic

Pixi Glow Tonic

PIXI Glow Tonic is one of my all-time favourite products; I’m often using it in my skincare routine, and for me, it’s skin smoothing abilities can’t be beaten. I get quite bad milia on my cheeks if I don’t exfoliate often. I find this glycolic acid-based toner to be a great help in keeping my milia under control. Plus, it gives your skin a great glow, so what’s not to love!

Paula's Choice BHA

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Another great contender in the category of exfoliating toners is Paula’s Choice Salicylic Acid. There’s a good reason this product is considered a cult favourite. I definitely enjoy using it too.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

I’ve tried a lot of products from The Ordinary; they offer a fantastic, affordable skincare option. Out of all of their products, my favourite has to be The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%. It does such a fantastic job of keeping blemishes at bay, while lightening patches of skin that have previously been impacted by spots or pigmentation.

hyaluronic acid inkey list

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid

Like The Ordinary, The Inkey List offers some incredible and affordable skincare, with basic ingredients at the core of each product. I’ve tried many hyaluronic acid serums over the years, and my favourite has to be The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid – it’s only £6.99, but it works brilliantly for my skin.

estee lauder advanced repair serum

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex Serum

I tried a tester of this serum a year ago, and I still think about it to this day. When I was using it, I got so many compliments about my skin and how healthy and glowing it looked. I wish I could afford the Advanced Night Repair Serum more regularly in my routine – fingers crossed it will be back on my shelf again one day soon!

elemis marine repair cream

Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream

I’ve got through two tubes and one jar of the Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream so far, so it’s safe to say I like this cream. I luckily got the jar in a beauty advent calendar, and two smaller tube versions in beauty subscription boxes, and I’m so glad I got a chance to try this cream. It worked absolute wonders for my skin, making it feel so smooth, supple and plump without looking too shiny.

It’s not too heavy, especially compared to most night creams. I would even be happy to use this during the day. It’s a premium price, but it is a premium product; I hope to one day be able to purchase this cream for myself.

glow recipe watermelon

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

I love face masks, and sleeping masks are a great way of nourishing skin overnight, so you can wake up with healthy and glowy skin. One of my favourite sleeping masks is the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask, and not just because it’s watermelon scented! It is a light gel consistency that doesn’t stay heavy on your skin overnight. I wake up with a lovely glow to my skin when I use this.

I hope you enjoy these products as much as I have done! Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these UK skincare products and how you found using them!
