Leaders Essential Wonders Good Hair Don’t Care! Mask

After a year of lockdown in which I became my own hairdresser and started experimenting with bleach, my hair is… not as happy as it could be! In need of some love and better treatment, I’ve tried out a hair mask instead of a face mask for this week’s Mask Monday!

About the Leaders Essential Wonders Good Hair Don’t Care! Mask

The Leaders Essential Wonders Good Hair Don’t Care! Mask is a nourishing hair mask that aims to moisturise damaged hair. It is perfect for colour-treated hair, damaged hair, dry hair and frizzy hair. The mask works to hydrate, rejuvenate and soften hair in 10 minutes.

The hair mask is within a hair wrap/cap that you put your hair into and wear for around 10 minutes. I liked this more than a hair mask that you have to apply yourself, as the Leaders Essential Wonders mask was less messy and allowed me to do other things while I was wearing it.

After shampooing and drying your hair, you place the cap over your hair and gather your hair inside it. Leave the cap on for around 10 minutes before removing and rinsing the hair with warm water.

The mask contains a lot of herbal extracts, including coconut oil, camellia seed oil, canola oil, aloe leaf extract, royal jelly extract, grape extract and olive extract.

My Experience With the Leaders Essential Wonders Good Hair Don’t Care! Mask

Instructions Could Have Been Easier

When trying to put this mask on my hair I did struggle a little bit with how it all worked. The instructions only say “remove hair mask cap from its packaging and apply it, adjusting hair inside”.

It doesn’t indicate which way around it goes, how to open the mask, or what to do with the sticky tab. Luckily, I had used a hair mask cap like this before, so I had a good idea of what I was doing, but if this was your first experience of a hair mask it could be quite confusing.

Comfortable to Wear

Once the mask was on, it was very comfortable to wear and I could do other things while it was on – I didn’t have to sit there not moving for fear of getting the hair mask everywhere!

Results

This mask made my hair so unbelievably soft! My hair was very dry before and the mask really helped to make it feel healthier. At the time of writing, I used the mask about a week ago, and my hair still feels a lot softer than it did prior to using the mask.

The only downside to the mask was that – because it was a thick and heavy product – my hair needed washing sooner than I would have done otherwise. This is a small price to pay for luxuriously soft hair though!
