JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm

The JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm went viral on TikTok last year, and after trying out this balm, I can see why.

What Skin Type is the JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm Suited For?

As an oil-based balm cleanser, it is suitable for all skin types to use as the first step of a double cleanse.

Oil-based cleansers like the Clean 10 Cleansing balm help to gently break down dirt, makeup and sun cream on skin, without it stripping the skin.

Ingredients: JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm Formula

As the name suggests, the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm contains only ten ingredients. The star of these ingredients is Japanese pearl barley, which gently cleanses skin without stripping natural oils. In addition, it helps to brighten skin, reduce dark spots and pigmentation, and moisturises skin.

The balm also contains vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that offers anti-ageing properties. It also has a lovely orange oil scent from California tangerines, which gives the balm its colour and delicious fragrance.

My Experience with the JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm

I really enjoyed using this cleanser. Typically, I don’t prefer to use balm cleansers. I find that they usually irritate my eyes, but I did not experience any irritation from the JUNOCO Cleansing Balm. It was comfortable enough to use on my eye area, and easy enough to wash away afterwards, especially with the help of the JUNOCO cleansing cookie.

A little goes a long way, I think this balm will last me for a while. The balm turns into a nice milky consistency when water is added and my makeup was melted away.

In addition to the cleansing balm, JUNOCO were also kind enough to send me their Clarifying Cleansing Powder to try. It is a powder to foam formula that exfoliates dead skin. The packaging is made of 100% recyclable plastic and recycled paper.

Ingredients: JUNOCO Clarifying Cleansing Powder Formula

The cleansing powder is made with rice wine lees extract, which is a byproduct from making sake. Instead of wasting this byproduct, it is essentially ‘upcycled’ as an ingredient within the cleansing powder. The rice lees extract is rich in antioxidants, and helps to keep skin soft and hydrated while gently exfoliating dead skin cells.

It also includes hyaluronic acid to hydrate skin, plus papaya enzymes to enhance the exfoliating power of this cleansing powder.

My Experience with the JUNOCO Clarifying Cleansing Powder

The powder cleanser surprised me in a good way; I expected it to be gritty and a rougher physical scrub exfoliant, but the powder foams up into gentle bubbles when water is added.

It was very pleasant to use, and left my skin feeling very clean, exfoliated and soft, without any abrasive feeling at all. My skin felt hydrated and appeared brighter and smoother, with an even skin tone and healthy glow.

JUNOCO Cleansing Cookie

I love reusable makeup remover pads like this Cleansing Cookie, as they are so quick and efficient at removing makeup, and are easy to clean and reuse without causing waste.

JUNOCO sent me their blue cleansing cookie to try, and it is lovely to use. It is so soft and can take off my eye makeup in a couple of sweeps, with only a bit of water. It is also great to use paired with the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm, making it even easier to massage in and wash away the cleansing balm.

A big thank you to JUNOCO for sending me these products to try! You can also find all three of these skincare treats in their The Ultimate Cleanse bundle.
