Best Eyeshadow Palettes for Autumn

Best Eyeshadow Palettes for Autumn

Because it’s autumn, aka the best season of the year, my wardrobe mostly now consists of orange, brown and burgundy. I love wearing makeup to match my clothing, so at this time of year, the makeup I reach for tends to be in similar tones to this.

I have quite a lot of makeup to choose from, so switching my makeup up between seasons is never a problem for me. As such I have shared some of my favourite eyeshadow palettes for autumn.

ColourPop Whatever

Colourpop Whatever Palette

This palette is the ultimate for autumn! It’s the perfect mix of burgundy, orange and brown tones and has both matte, shimmer and glitter shades. The Whatever palette has everything you need and can create so many different looks. The lighter shades make perfect base and blending tones, the darker shades add some drama and the shimmer and glitter is bright and bold.

It is a long lasting eyeshadow that is very easy to work with and build up.

Below you can see a look I did with this palette.

Huda Beauty Topaz Obsessions Palette

Huda Topaz Obsessions

I first got this palette back in the Spring and it quickly became a favourite, and one I regularly reach for on a daily basis.

The glitter shades are bold and pigmented; enough even that they could be worn alone. The matte shades also have great pigmentation and are very buildable. It’s the perfect palette for day-to-night transition too!

While I think it is perfect year-round, I think the yellow-orange-brown tones of this palette are really well-suited to the autumn months, and I look forward to using this often!

STYLondon Devil Velvet Touch Palette

STYLondon Eyeshadow

Autumn is all about orange, brown and red tones and that’s what this palette is all about! The STYLondon palette has great colour pay-off and is the perfect mixture of mattes and shimmers.

The palette contains nine shades, which are perfect for the autumn season. They are bright and bold and stay in place all day.

I love using one of the middle row shades across the whole eye, building up a deeper shadow with the bottom three shades and then topping and highlighting with a shimmer from the top!

Tarte Tarteist PRO To Go Palette

If you’re more about the neutral tones, then I think the Tarteist PRO palette is the one for you. It’s neutral toned, but verging on autumnal hues as the brown has a slight orangey hint and the shimmer shades are bronze and a deep pink, which would work with a lot of autumnal fashion.

This allows you to get a slightly more subtle hint of autumn into your makeup routine, while remaining a palette you can totally use year-round.

I really love Tarte makeup; I find their eyeshadows are really nice to work with and feel very smooth. This palette is the mini version of their PRO palette, and I love it as I think it’s enough shades to make a couple of different looks, which makes it perfect for me to bring with me when I’m away for a few days!
