LookFantastic September Birthday Beauty Box Review

lookfantastic september beauty box

Having missed being able to go out on a proper shopping spree, I decided to treat myself to a selection of beauty boxes, one of which being the LOOKFANTASTIC September box.

This month’s box is the Birthday Edition Box to celebrate six years of the LOOKFANTASTIC Beauty Box.

It contains six beauty products, plus an additional treat to celebrate. The box is worth over £77, but costs only £15, although I technically got it for free as I pre-ordered their advent calendar, and the box was a special deal.

If you’re thinking of pre-ordering the LOOKFANTASTIC Advent Calendar, then be sure to make the most of this deal, as you essentially get a free beauty box! And no one should turn that down!

September LOOKFANTASTIC Beauty Box Product Review

Luxie 209 Large Shader Brush

I’ve used a couple of different Luxie brushes before and like them, this brush is brilliant quality. The brush is soft and is good at both applying and blending out eyeshadow. I actually used this brush alone to do a full eye look for work, and I got the results I wanted from it.

Illamasqua Mini OMG Highlighter

The Illamasqua mini highlighter is about the size of an eyeshadow single, but it still packs a powerful shimmer! For my skintone, this is the type of highlighter I would use for highlighting smaller areas of my skin, like my nose. I have also chosen to use this as a shimmery eyeshadow.

Brushworks Jade Roller

This jade roller from Brushworks is dual-ended, with a wider piece of jade at one end and a smaller bit at the other for more delicate areas. Jade rollers are naturally cool, so when you use it across your face it helps to promote blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, which helps to reduce puffiness.

It’s also a great tool to use after applying serums as it helps to massage the product in quicker.

Elemis Pro-collagen Marine Cream

This cream is such a treat for the skin. It is an anti-ageing, pro-collagen moisturiser and you can tell it’s a premium product by the texture of the cream alone. Using this has made my skin instantly softer and smoother.

Mini Diego Dalla Palma Lip Liner

A beautiful dusty rose coloured lip liner, the diego dalla palma pencil was the perfect shade for me! I used it to line my lips, and I then smudged it out and topped with a lip gloss. The lip liner lasted all day.

ESPA Pink Hair & Scalp Mud

This mask deeply conditions hair and nourishes the scalp, and is designed for dry and weak hair. The ESPA pink hair and scalp mud is meant to be used like a hair mask – left in for at least 20 minutes – and can be worn overnight. It smells absolutely incredible too!
