Green People Foaming Face Wash and Day Solution Moisturiser Review

Green People Foaming Face Wash and Day Solution Moisturiser Review

Recently, the lovely brand Green People reached out and kindly gifted me some products to review. They were kind enough to read my blog and pick out some of their products that they thought would best suit my skin type. These were the Foaming Face Wash and Day Solution Moisturiser.

Green People create natural and organic skincare products, which are vegan, cruelty-free and certified organic. I have greatly enjoyed trying out these products!

Foaming Face Wash

The Green People Foaming Face Wash is a natural anti-blemish face wash that contains green tea and clary sage. It has 94% certified organic ingredients and is cruelty-free, vegan and eco-friendly.

The Foaming Face Wash includes witch hazel and clary sage oil, which both work to balance sebum production and reduce excess oiliness – this makes it a great cleanser choice for those with oily skin. It also contains green tea, which is an antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from oxidative damage and collagen breakdown. The larch tree in the face wash also helps to make skin smoother and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

My Experience with the Green People Foaming Face Wash

I have really enjoyed using this cleanser – the foam is light, easy to apply and very gentle. It cleanses my skin well without making it feel dry or tight. My skin feels clearer and smoother after using, and ready for the next stages in my skincare routine.

As it is very gentle and uses natural, organic ingredients, this face wash is also great for those with sensitive skin. The ingredients are also ideal for oily and combination skin, and have really helped to keep my skin clear of blemishes while I’ve been using this face wash.

The face wash has a fairly strong scent, although I think this is more the natural aroma of the organic ingredients, rather than an artificially added fragrance.

I use this wash in the morning, as a lighter cleanser option to refresh my skin or as the second cleanser step in my evening routine, following a cleansing balm or oil. It is gentle enough to use around the eye area without irritation, but perhaps isn’t intense enough for removing mascara.

Day Solution Moisturiser

The Green People Day Solution Moisturiser is a light, skin-balancing cream that aims to prevent blemishes. It contains 89% certified organic ingredients and is vegan, cruelty-free and alcohol free.

The main ingredients are prebiotics and willow bark. The prebiotics are alpha-glucan oligosaccharides, which help to balance the skin’s natural flora. Willow bark extract helps to reduce inflammation and irritation. It is a natural alternative to salicylic acid, so it helps to balance and control oily skin and stop breakouts.

The moisturiser also contains pineapple extract to unblock pores and create a clearer and smoother complexion. It also includes rose geranium leaves, which further balance sebum production and leave skin feeling fresh and clean.

My Experience with the Green People Day Solution Moisturiser

The Day Solution Moisturiser cream makes my skin feel incredibly soft and smooth. My skin looks clearer, with a more balanced skin tone.

The scent is perhaps a little strong for my liking, but compared with many other pre-biotic creams, which can be a bit smelly, it is a delightful aroma.

While the cream is fairly thick, it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It doesn’t leave you feeling greasy or looking oily, which is great. The only thing with it is that because it is a thicker white cream, it is best to apply it gradually, and build it up, as it can leave some white streaks on your skin if you try to put too much on at once! This isn’t too difficult to do, as the cream does sink in pretty quickly if you apply it little by little.

Overall, this cream has been a great addition to my routine at the moment – I think it gives the perfect consistency and benefits for this time of year in the transition between winter and summer!

A big thank you to Green People for letting me try out these wonderful products!
